Buying Gold Bars In Dubai

Torino Film Festival - Josh Appignanesi, The Infidel

What happens if you live in England and you're not a very observant Muslim but your son is in love with a girl whose mother has just married a Muslim fundamentalist in the world? And what happens if the strange cases of life discover that in fact your name is Mahmoud and Solomon, but you were born to a Jewish family before being adopted by a Muslim family?

Filmed with great humor and irony, the film (and is the second English in this festival to talk about religion with that tone) seems to emphasize the humanity irrespective of one's religion, as if the West turns out more tollerante di quanto le guerre di religione non vogliano far credere.
